How to come to La Cazarelle ?

Itinerary tips to La Cazarelle

To facilitate your arrival it is essential to read all the advice presented on this page.

In the village

La Cazarelle is located in a part of the village of Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles blocked with a no entry sign which is nevertheless authorized to residents. The GPS as well as Waze and Google Maps, which respect the highway code, refuse to take this forbidden direction and can lead you to make big detours.

The solution is to enter in your GPS the alternative address 677 chemin des Hortus in Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles. When you arrive at the small roundabout topped by a cross at the bus stop "Cazarels" (see photo at the top of the page), take the Chemin de Molières in the forbidden direction authorised for local residents, following the signs for La Cazarelle.

At the stop sign turn right on Chemin de Bassac and finally turn right on Impasse des Rainettes.

La Cazarelle is at the end of Impasse des Rainettes, on the left.

Possible shortcut coming from Les Matelles

From the village of Les Matelles, take the D17e3 towards Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers and Le Triadou. At the end of a long straight stretch, at the level of an electric transformer leaning to the right, the road bends to the right

Slow down at the end of the turn, and a few metres after the sign indicating the 70 km/h limit, turn left onto a small, unnamed tarmac track.

At the end of the road, in front of a house, turn right.

At the second stop sign, turn left into the Chemin de Bassac road and then right into the Impasse des Rainettes.

If you are arriving on the A9 motorway from Béziers or Nîmes, we draw your attention to the fact that most GPS devices that are not updated are unaware of the existence of a new motorway splitting the A9 south of Montpellier.
